Craft Project – Magic Leprechaun Bath Bombs
Have some fun in the tub this St. Patrick’s Day with this fun bath bomb project! These little pots of gold include a fun surprise! And the best part – all the supplies came from the dollar store!
Supplies:
- Toy leprechaun pots or cauldrons
- 1-3 bath bombs per pot (depending on the size of the bombs)
- Toy coins or other small toys
- Water in a spray bottle
Tools:
- Large plastic bowl just for crafts (one that won’t be used for food again – yuck)
- A small rock or something to break and grind the bath bombs
Steps:
1. With the rock, break up the bath bomb(s) in the bowl. Grind it into a nice powder. You can skip this step if you get fizzy bath powder.
2. Little by little, spritz some of the water in. Don’t add very much at a time, or you’ll use up the fizziness of the bath bomb. Keep adding water until the powder can hold its shape when you squeeze it, just like in the picture below.
3. Put a little powder in the bottom of the pot and squish it in nice and firm.
4. Add a coin or toy, then a little more powder. Squish it in firmly. Add another coin or toy, then a little more powder, and squish again. Keep doing this until the pot is full. I put 5 coins total into mine.
5. Enjoy a fun, fizzing surprise in your next bath!
